The Board of Education will hold the annual District budget hearing on Tuesday, May 5, at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library. The regular meeting will be held directly after the budget hearing.

This Friday, May 1st, is Decision Day for our Seniors!

Seniors wear shirts representing their choice in college, workplace, or the military. There is a Senior breakfast scheduled for 7:15 AM the morning of Decision Day.

To ensure all of our students attending Prom this year have what they need for a wonderful night, we again partnered with Goldsworthy Alterations and Design to hold a Prom Pop-Up Event today. All students were welcome to "shop" the offerings, including dresses, shoes, jewelry, and suits, and take home what they needed for free!

The Board of Education will hold an additional regular meeting on April 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library.  Items currently on the draft agenda include the fourth budget presentation from Mr. Forbes, a resolution to adopt the 2026-27 district budget, a resolution regarding a Capital Outlay Project to be completed in the Summer of 2027, and a resolution to approve the 2026-27 District Calendar.

Big things are happening in our Pre-K classrooms this week! April is the Month of the Young Child, and Wheelock Early Childhood Center is going ALL OUT for the National Week of the Young Child! From music and movement to stories and STEM, early childhood is where the magic begins — and our little learners are proof of that every single day.

So far, our Wheelock Pre-K family has celebrated Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, and Working Wednesday, where our littlest learners got to be big helpers, getting our outdoor classroom ready for use. Stay tuned to see what happens on Thursday and Friday!
