Over the last five years, student needs within our district have changed significantly.

These changing dynamics increase the need for:

Creative Education
Creativity is an essential part of student success.
✔ 1,094 students participated in K-12 art classes
✔ 81 students participated in art-related clubs
✔ 12 students contributed artwork in the community
✔ 20 students participated in the Independent Arts Assessment Pathway
✔ 6 art-related field trips this year — with another planned in June
✔ 16 students had work featured in off-campus shows
Fredonia was also recognized with:

Community of Excellence in Visual Arts
These opportunities allow students to express themselves, build confidence, connect with the community, and showcase their talents beyond the classroom.

Music continues to thrive at Fredonia.
✔ 914 students participated in curricular ensembles
✔ 578 students participated in extracurricular ensembles
✔ 300+ students participated in musicals
✔ 1,157 K-12 students took a music class this year

Seniors gathered this morning to celebrate 'Decision Day 2026' by wearing something that reflects their plans after graduation. For some, it was shirts from their college or trade school of choice. For others, it was how they'll dress to head into the military or workforce. Others still are taking time to decide during a gap year.
Congratulations to all of this year's seniors for making the decision that's right for them!
