From FCSD Family Support Services:

FCSD partners with Feedmore WNY to offer our community a school food pantry stocked with nonperishable items such as cereals, snacks, canned goods, and meal kits. Parents/guardians can make use of our online order form below, reach out to learn more or to "shop" in person. Middle and High School students can "shop" in the pantry by working with their School Social Worker.

Students in Pre-K through Grade 4 are eligible for the Backpack Program, which sends a bag of nonperishable food home over the weekends. Interested students/parents/guardians can work with your teacher and School Social Worker to get signed up.

Also below, please find a list of local food pantries, with their locations, contact info and days/times of operation.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions, suggestions or concerns, or if you'd like to make a donation to our School Pantry. Thank you for your interest and support!

🏐 Fredonia Modified Volleyball 2025 Season🏐

Congratulations to our 7th & 8th grade Modified Volleyball team on an incredible season! 🖤

The Lady ‘Billies finished with an impressive 8-2 record, won every set in their 4-team mid-year tournament, and came out on top in five full 5-set match wins throughout the season! Their dedication, teamwork, and determination were on full display from start to finish.

Modified volleyball plays such an important role in building the foundation for future success. It’s where athletes develop core skills, confidence, and communication, and learn what it truly means to be part of a team. This year’s group demonstrated all of that and more.

We are proud of these student-athletes for representing Fredonia with heart, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.

FHS Football Gets Rivalry Win
As reported in the Observer, Fredonia outscored Dunkirk 16-0 in the second half to spoil homecoming and Senior Night with a 16-7 rivalry victory at Karl Hoeppner Field.

“Man, what a game,” Ayden Wronski said after the game. He scored both of Fredonia’s touchdowns in the victory.

The annual rivalry showdown between crosstown foes that dates back more than a century was as hard-fought as one would expect. It was a game that somebody had to win, but it was played with the intensity of a game where both sides felt they needed to win.

“This rivalry means so much to so many people. I never had anything like this growing up, and even coaching,” Fredonia head coach Greg Sherlock said. “This is a big deal. I don’t have to say a whole lot to them. They know what it’s all about. They feel it.”

Thanks to both Braden Carmen and Ashleigh Brown for their great coverage of our local sports programs.
