Budget Revote
Tuesday, June 17, 2025 | 2:00-9:00 PM
FCSD High School Cafeteria
As a result of the failed budget vote on May 20th, the district will hold a revote on Tuesday, June 17th.
To meet the state-mandated timeline requirements, FCSD must hold an additional Board of Education meeting prior to our regularly scheduled meeting on June 3rd. The only date available that allows for a quorum, or majority, of our Board of Education members to meet is this Friday, May 30th, at 6 PM in the High School Library. T
he purpose of this meeting is to present and adopt a revised budget for the revote on June 17, 2025. Please note that additional communications and details will be forthcoming.
Therefore, the Board of Education will hold a special budget meeting on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library.
The Budget Revote of the Fredonia Central School District will be held via in-person voting on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria.
A public hearing on the 2025-2026 budget revote will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the HS library.
Absentee ballots will be mailed to all permanently disabled residents who are currently on the Board of Elections' list.
If you wish to vote by absentee ballot and are not on the Board of Elections' permanently disabled list, please contact the District Clerk to make arrangements to receive an application. Applications must be received at the office of the District Clerk by June 12th if the absentee ballot is to be mailed to the applicant, or by June 16th if the applicant plans to pick up the absentee ballot in person at the District Office. All absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk in the district office no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the vote (June 17, 2025). Any ballots received after that time will not be counted.
Those receiving military ballots for the Annual Budget Vote and Election will automatically have a ballot mailed to them.
To be considered a qualified voter of the district, you must be:
a citizen of the United States of America
eighteen years of age or older
a resident within the district for a period of thirty days preceding the revote, and
not otherwise disqualified from voting in school district elections
