Our Middle School will remain on half days for the entire week, as previously scheduled. As planned, Middle School students will be dismissed and buses will depart at 10:50 AM.
OUR HIGH SCHOOL REGENTS EXAM SCHEDULE WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED THIS WEEK. BOTH AM AND PM REGENTS EXAMS WILL RUN AS CURRENTLY SCHEDULED. STUDENTS SHOULD ARRIVE ON TIME FOR THEIR EXAMS AS SCHEDULED.
*Please note there will not be a late afternoon bus run after the PM exams.

Join our friends at SUNY Fredonia for a FREE Drills, Skills & Wellness event on July 26th!

Fredonia Central School District is closed today in honor of Juneteenth. On this day in 1865, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, all enslaved people in the United States were finally freed when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, TX, to enforce the freeing of all remaining slaves.

Our Students & School Budget In Action
We’re shining the spotlight on Athletics!
Athletic opportunities in schools build more than just skills. Through sports, students gain confidence, resilience, and pride in themselves and their school. Our many successful sports teams show what happens when dedication meets opportunity.
Athletic programs help our students become their greatest selves — on and off the field.

Thank you to all who came out to the polls to exercise their right to vote. Thank you to the Board of Elections and the volunteers who made the budget revote run smoothly!
The unofficial results are as follows: 2025-26 Revised Budget:
Yes: 986
No: 749

The polls are open! The School Budget Vote & Election is happening from 2-9 PM.
Let your voice be heard.

This revised budget is about balance—maintaining essential services and programs while respecting taxpayers. Without it, our students will face larger class sizes, fewer supports, and reduced opportunities. Every vote counts. Make your voice heard!

Our Students & School Budget In Action
We’re shining the spotlight on Cultural Awareness!
From the High School Model UN club engaging in global diplomacy models and debates to our littlest learners’ vibrant Flag Day celebration at Wheelock, our students are learning to appreciate diverse cultures and perspectives at every age. These experiences build empathy, understanding, and a more connected world.

We’re shining the spotlight on extracurriculars!
There is so much more to learning than sitting at a desk! Students learn in a myriad of ways. For many, their favorite lessons are hands-on and interactive, which is why we do our best to offer a multitude of extracurricular activities to complement classroom learning.
New this year is the Fredonia Food and Garden Club. This club involves high school students interested in gardening and the environment in everything from transplanting houseplants to maple sugaring to self-sustainability. Club members have constructed their own low tunnel system, allowing them to grow food right through the winter! They also held a very popular Plant Swap & Giveaway day that’s sure to become an annual event.
Girls on the Run Heart and Sole is a program for girls in Grades 5-8 that combines girl empowerment lessons and preparation for a 5K. Participants meet twice a week for 90 minutes to engage in lessons and activities related to such concepts as making SMART goals, stress management tips, embracing our agency, and how to ask and receive help. Girls also complete workouts at each practice. At the end of the 20-lesson program, girls participate in a 5K run in Buffalo.

The library is being used for Regents exams, so tomorrow's Board of Education meeting has been moved to room 636, located on the second floor of the High School. If you have mobility issues, there will be signs posted directing you to the elevator.

We appreciate all the help and cooperation from our students over the course of the year!
We will be hosting a student appreciation event outside of the High School entrance on Tuesday with our bounce house and some treats. Students and parents are welcome to stop by anytime between 4 and 7 PM. We'd love to see you there!
