Hello Fredonia Families,
Please see the message below that we are sharing with our students. We ask that you reinforce and support this message for all attending the Fredonia-Southwestern football game Friday night.
We appreciate everyone supporting our team, but please keep the following in mind:
Cheer for our team, not against our opponent
Keep the language clean with no swearing
Be respectful of the officials
Be respectful of their fans and parents
Represent our school positively
Do not engage in negative social media dialogue with opposing teams and fans
Best of luck to our players and coaches. Go Billies! Please contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Stay classy Fredonia!

Today, FCSD honors all those who were lost or impacted by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Many thanks to our FHS National Honor Society for placing an American Flag outside of our school for each of the 2799 victims of 9/11. Let us vow never to forget the unity, compassion, and solidarity that arose from the ashes of tragedy. We should carry the lessons of 9/11 forward in our hearts and actions, ensuring that the sacrifices made on that day are never in vain.

A Message from the FCSD District Office:
Greetings Fredonia Students and Families,
We hope everyone had a great summer and welcome to the 2023-24 school year. Thanks to all who were involved in preparing for our official start with students tomorrow. We are ready to begin the new school year with our school cleaning being completed, master schedules being finalized, and fall sports in full swing.
In thinking about the beginning of the year, we are reminded that we have an outstanding group of students and families helping us achieve our mission of everyone becoming their greatest selves. We appreciate all that you do to make our school district run as smoothly as possible with everyone having the opportunity to maximize their potential.
We are proud and pleased to have a group of students and families that partner with us in our effort to provide an innovative, dynamic, and global education for all. The spirit of teamwork and togetherness makes our schools a great place to learn and grow. We anticipate an outstanding school year with these characteristics at the heart of our work over the next ten months.
Please know that your feedback is welcome at any time throughout the year. We are more than willing to discuss any questions, concerns, or ideas that might be on your mind. Feel free to reach out as needed.
Enjoy the opening of school this coming week and we look forward to working together again this year.
