THE MUSIC MAN is a beloved musical that has been entertaining audiences for nearly sixty years, including a recent smash-hit revival on Broadway. The musical is set in River City, Iowa, in 1912 and centers on a charming con man who comes to town to swindle the citizens but ends up falling in love with the town librarian. Classic songs from the musical include "Seventy-Six Trombones," "Goodnight My Someone," "Pick a Little, Talk a Little," "Til There Was You," "Marian the Librarian," and many more.

Over 120 Fredonia students are involved in this production between the cast, pit orchestra, and backstage crews. This show also involves a dozen elementary students appearing in their first FHS musical. Principal cast members include Jackson Gollnitz (Harold Hill), Gracia Domenico (Marian Paroo), Colin Abbey (Marcellus Washburn), Marla Henderson (Mrs. Paroo), Bennett Shephard (Mayor Shinn), Katherine Fortna (Eulalie Shinn), and Camden Burnside and Landyn DeJohn-Meyer (sharing the role of Winthrop Paroo).
