Fredonia High School Senior Neshwan Arif presented his research at the prestigious SmallSat Education Conference on October 25 and 26, 2025. The conference was held at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Mr. Arif’s research compared solar panel efficiency at various altitudes. He, along with high school seniors from Williamsville, conducted the study during his summer internship at the University of Buffalo Nanosatellite Laboratory during the summer of 2025.
SmallSat Education Conference is an important platform for students, educators, and administrators to learn about CubeSats, ThinSats, and High-Altitude Balloon Programs. It provides hands-on training for educators and students, networking opportunities with industry experts, and insights from exhibitors and vendors while offering authentic experiences to help bring space education to the classroom.
