Three Fredonia Central School District high school art students— Trillium Mason‑DeMello, Brooklyn Smith, and Kayleigh Heida—have been selected to participate in the statewide art exhibit sponsored by the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) in collaboration with the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA).
This annual exhibition showcases exceptional student artwork from across the state to school boards, educators, and the public. It is a significant honor for Fredonia student-artists to be included, and we congratulate Trillium, Brooklyn, and Kayleigh on their achievement.
Their artwork was featured in the virtual exhibit, accessible during the NYSSBA convention held in New York City from October 20–22, and will remain online for public viewing through December 31, 2025.
“Having three students represented in this statewide show speaks volumes about the creativity, dedication, and skill of our young artists and the strong support they receive from our art teachers,” said Superintendent Brad Zilliox. “We are immensely proud of Trillium, Brooklyn, and Kayleigh, as well as our entire Art Department.”
The district invites family, friends, and community members to view the virtual exhibit online at nysata.memberclicks.net/nyssba-exhibit.
