Wheelock Early Childhood Center

The UPK students read Fiona Flamingo with Mrs. Guiffreda last week. This is a story about a flamingo with white feathers. Her friends start picking on her about her feathers and they begin to turn colors with her feelings! A little flamingo comes to her in the end and says she want to be just like her! Then her feathers burst into color where no two feathers are the same but they all are perfect together. That was the concept for our project—no two people are the same. When we come together we make something beautiful and unique!
