Wheelock Early Childhood Center, at Fredonia Central School District, would like to invite you to participate in our third annual ‘UPK and Kindergarten Transition Jamboree’ on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4 – 6 pm.

Students and families entering Pre-K and Kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year will be invited to attend this fun-filled event. It is intended to assist them in making a positive transition into our school and allow them to meet members of the Fredonia community.

The Jamboree will be held inside Wheelock Early Childhood Center. A wide variety of school personnel and support services and staff will be available to answer parents' questions and we hope to have many businesses, community members, and agencies in attendance to provide their specific information and resources. We will host tours of the building, provide school bus transportation to and from the event, and have buses available for any families that want to go for a bus ride with their students. There will be pizza, drinks, snacks, school supply giveaways, crafts for the students, face-painting, and a DJ with family-appropriate music during the Jamboree.
