Visitors & School Security
The Board of Education welcomes parents and community members to visit our schools. To maintain a safe and productive learning environment, specific guidelines are in place for all visitors. Anyone who is not a student or staff member is considered a visitor.
Entry Procedures:
All school doors remain locked during school hours.
To enter, visitors must use the main entrance corresponding to their grade level and press the buzzer located near the door to be admitted to the entryway.
Check-In Requirements:
Upon entry, all visitors are required to present a valid, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license or passport) at the check-in window.
Our security system will conduct a background check. If cleared, the visitor will receive a visitor badge, which must be worn visibly for the duration of the visit.
Departure Procedures:
Before leaving, visitors must sign out at the same location where they signed in and return their visitor badge.
No one will be allowed into the building during school hours without a valid government-issued ID.
