New York State Education Law 807-A requires that school facility fire inspections be conducted annually. The Fredonia Central School District has conducted the annual Fire Safety Inspection for all its buildings. In accordance with the New York Education Law Section 3012-c(10), parents and legal guardians may request the final quality rating and composite effectiveness score for each of the teachers and for the principal of the school building in which your student(s) is assigned for the current school year.
Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), parents and students over 18 years of age must be notified of their rights to inspect and review their child’s education records or to request the amendment of records believed to be in accurate or misleading.
