McArthur, Kelly - Aloha ! I would love to hear from any of my old friends from Fredonia ! I am disappointed that there are only two listing for the Class of 1979. I will be contacting people I have kept in contact with over the years and ask them to register. I have been living in Hawaii for the past 12 years and have no plans in leaving these beautiful Islands. It seems like I have been in Sales for different products for along time.I am currently working for a auto dealership who has the distribution rights to the new E - Bike (www.aloha-electricbikes.com/) I am their Special Projects Manager ( I do Trade Shows and show the bike) It is very exciting for Hawaii ! I also oversee four large pieces of property, and have a special product I have been apart of for the last 15 years, It is called " Smoked Ahi Dip". Sold to exclusive gourmet shops. Nevinger, Leigh - I graduated form SUNY Fredonia with a BS in chemistry. I then received my Ph.D. in chemistry from the University at Buffalo. I currently work for a company in Buffalo NY that does cancer research for the federal government. I now live in Orchard Park NY with my wonderful wife Paula and my four year old Daughter Danielle. Swank, Bill - "I live in Fredericksburg, VA. I retired after 20 years from the Air Force in 2002. I'm a Senior Engineer for a small company supporting the Missile Defense Agency and other government agencies. I also work as an Adjunct Faculty member at George Mason University teaching Decision Sciences for the School of Management. Phil Mott - Still living in the north suburbs of Chicago with my wife and three kids. I gave up on life as the proprietor of a fancy French restaurant. I was tired of people not believing that Beef on Weck was Nouvelle Cuisine. I am now a Professor at Kendall College and do consulting when I have time. I spent the summer consulting with a business accross from Wrigley Field and spent a lot of time doing "research" while watching games. My psychologist wife is still doing a post-graduate study with my feeble-brained self as the subject. I hope it ends soon, I am getting tired of the electric shock aspect of it and pecking at levers for dinner is getting old as well. I have two sons, a sophomore and an eighth grader, and spend a lot of time thankful for the fact that I don't have another "Mott's Shack" in the backyard. My almost eleven year old daugher is going on thirty and apparently only knows how to say "whatever!" when talking to me. These next few years will be fun. I get calls from O'Hare on a regular basis from Fredonians traveling to or through here so feel free to call me up. I give great tours. My son just got his permit so I am on the lookout for a badly painted 64' Ford Fairlane named Matilda for him to drive. Let me know if you see one for sale. philmott@aol.com

I really enjoyed my career working for two differentlaw firms in Rochester and Syracuse from 1983-1994. In 1985 I married Bruce Cummings (class of 1979). In March of 1995 we moved to Austin, Texas. Mott, Phil - No, I don't really work as Jerry Springers Voice coach. So stop asking for tickets. Besides, the tickets are free. After leaving the hallowed halls of FHS I got a degree at UB in History (interesting but not terribly useful) and then went to the University of Chicago and got an MBA (even less useful). I spent time working for a Japanese Investment bank but left after realizing I don't like sushi. I now live outside of Chicago with my family and along with my brother own some very nice restaurants among other things. Sorry to say we don't serve Chicken wings or Genny Cream. Hughes, Michelle - I was surfing the net and found out that Fredonia has gone high-tech. Since I couldn't make it to our 20th reunion, I am really looking forward to seeing what happened to everyone! As for me, I spent thirteen very short years as an Army Intelligence Officer (got to live in some great places and work with some really interesting things in the terrorism and counternarcotics field) before settling down in 1992 with my husband, Craig Nostrant, who is a Commander in the Navy. We have two children, Valerie (6) and Rachel (4) and I am a litigation attorney for a large eastern Virginia law firm. I can't believe how time has flown by, or that we are all turning 40 this year. Silliman, Keith - Hello! I think quite a bit about my friends from High School and wish I had stayed in better touch. My wife and I live in Albany; we have three children--one in college, already. We are building a home in the Adirondack Mountains where I spends as much time as possible. I recently went to work for the New York Power Authority, handling regulatory issues associated with the Niagara Falls Hydropower Project, so I get home to Fredonia quite a bit. For those of you who had my Mother as a teacher--she is well (79), travelling around the world. Several years ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer, but they seemed to have caught it at an early stage. Take care and drop me a note.

Class of 1976

Calanni Jr., Pete - I was home visiting my family in Fredonia over the holidays 1999-2000 and saw this site. So, here...I graduated S.U.N.Y. Fredonia in 1990 with Anthropology major & Ceramics minor. Was busy in college working environmmental issues & playing in bands (guitar, singing). After graduation I lived in arkwright for three years in a hand built yurt with few anneminties, just a wood stove & an organic garden. 1993 I went to Asia where for six years I traveled in India, Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Tibet & Cambodia, periodically making a living by being a street musician & English teacher (when I was desperate). In February 1999 my Khmer wife Sarom & I were married in Cambodia near Angkor Wat. Marie Keel (Crowell)- Marie left on November 29,2002. She passed peacefully in her sleep, the result of a brain aneurysm. She has survived by our parents, her husband, John Keel and my two children, who loved her very much, Meghan and John. Since we graduated, Marie and I only saw each other every year or so. She lived her life and I lived mine. Recently we had found occasions to talk more and were planning to get to know each other better. Sadly, we didn't get the time. It wasn't until Marie's funeral that I truly came to understand the person she was. She worked tirelessly on helping at-risk children learn how to read. She was involved in so many different groups and associations that focused on reading. Her methods have been published and are being used today. Many teachers shared how she had helped them achieve their goals. I was astonished, as a person after person came up to my parents and me how "if it wasn't for Marie I wouldn't be teaching." I found out just how special she was. Sis, I miss you and love you. Meghan and John miss you too. I wish we had more time to talk. It's strange knowing that I have to face the rest of my life without you in it. Your Loving Brother, Buzz

Mike Sly - I moved to Texas in 1982 and I'm currently living in Plano, a suburb about 20 miles north of Dallas. Kohler, Daniel -After graduation, I moved to Brocton, NY. Since graduating I've married twice and divorced twice. It has been quite the learning experience. I now have four children and two grandchildren and a new one on the way. Along with driving trucks for Don Frame Trucking, I own a DJ and Sound Service company called Prince Kohler Productions. You may have seen me at the Farm Festival, the Dunkirk Jazz Fest, and the Silver Creek Grape Festival. My dreams haven't stopped though, I'm still look into bigger things.

I have two questions if I may. First I would appreciate any information (if any) regarding the purchace of a replacemant yearbook for the year 1975.
Second, I was wondering if it might be appropriate to have a 'Class Reunion' section or sections, as it were, included in the Alumni section? Many of my classmates were searching for just such information prior to this summer. It would have been our 25th...but alas! Lancaster,Robert - After graduation I enjoyed bachelor hood for several years actually till 1994 when I married follow classmate Mary (Sue) Walsh...I've been employed by the Village for over 22 years the last 18 at the Water Plant and the last 3 as the Chief Operator....These days I fine myself playing golf and watching my stepsons play sports ...Mary will fill you in on herself ...The oldest Matt is 17 and a senior at FHS..e plays football,is a captain of the wrestling team and plays baseball..He'll be going to SUNY Brockport in the fall.....Mark is 14 and in 8th grade He quarterbacked the 8th grade football team and plays point guard on the 8th grade basketball team ....If we're not at a game we're usually hanging around the pool .....You can e-mail us at rlancast@netsync.net

Salerno, David - Boy, I think of the "good old days" at Fredonia High School often, so I was glad to find this webpage. I've been working as an Electrical Engineer (big surprise right?) since I graduated from Purdue in 1978. I was in the aerospace field for 17 years, working in Connecticut and San Diego, and now work for a semiconductor manufacturer (Unitrode Corporation) in New Hampshire. I'm married and have two kids; Cathy is going to be 13 this summer, and is into lots of sports, especially basketball. My son Jon is 10, and is also quite the athlete, especially baseball (they must have gotten this from my wife!). We enjoy visiting Fredonia a couple times a year, and always hope to bump into someone we know. (Coincidentally, my wife Karen graduated from Fredonia State.) Westling, Susan - I've been back in Fredonia for almost six years, after purchasing my parents' home, where I live with my two children, Grace, 8, and Alex, 6. I also work in Chautauqua County as an Assistant County Attorney, where I specialize in contract and labor law, plus a bit of family court juvenile delinquent prosecutions to keep things spicy. A Tribute to Gerald Wallace

We're exhausted, you and me mate. We still hold that one run lead in the bottom of the last, but...with the bases loaded and two out, Duke McGuire has worked us to a 3-2 count. Buddy, this championship is on the line and we both know that you've run out of pitches. No conference on the mound.(all we'd do is stare at each other anyway) But I know you've got something that'll get us through.(after all these years how could I think not?) I crouch and throw down the fingers.

You peer in and double take. As you rise for the delivery a grin covers your entire face. Frame by frame I still picture the ball as it floats and flutters towards its disposition (and our team its fate) I can actually see McGuire's eyes light up as he uncoils his vicious swing. I believe that I blink as I feel the soft thud of the pitch land in my glove. Duke looks at me in painful disbelief, but I can only see you.(wow...wow dee dow dow) Goodbye Duke...and goodbye teammie. Salhoff,Gregg. "I am currently living in Venice FL. I transfered here from VA. in 1993 and work for Food Lion inc. as a meat cutter. I also have a company in Las Vegas NV. Kuczenski, Donald - After graduating from SUNY Fredonia in '74 I married, moved to Jamestown and went to work at TRW. (Received my MBA from St.Bonaventure and a CPA from the State of Maryland.) After 2 children and 11 years we moved to the sunny Eastern Shore of Maryland (just below the left corner of Delaware) where I was the director of corporate accounting for Perdue Farms Inc. We loved the climate there but one day I received a phone call from a recruiter in the Pittsburgh area telling me about a position open at the hotest company in the city , FORE Systems Inc. Anyways it was a great opportunity to get into the high tech industry so we left the sunshine to come back north. I'm assistant corporate controller and having a great time.
